Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from the US. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before relocating her family in Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre through Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before making a move to film and television. In 1992 Anna found her first big part as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows as well as films, like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008, she was a part as Skyler for the show Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also in her professional career. Gunn has also been seen on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. She played the role in the audio podcast of four parts drama Numbered days, which was released in 2022. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's love affair with his partner Skyler. Their relationship is strained as well as their final break-up mirror the devastating end for Walter White.
